Briscola is a popular Italian trick-taking card game for 2-6 players, known for its simplicity and strategic depth, played with a 40-card Italian deck (or standard deck minus 8s, 9s, 10s) where the goal is to win tricks and collect points from high-value cards like Aces (11 pts) and Threes (10 pts). A trump suit, or “briscola,” is determined each round, and players aim to reach a target score, often 61 points, by winning valuable cards, with no obligation to follow suit, making memory and signaling crucial.
